President and CEO
John
M. Rivers, Jr., established Rivers Enterprises following the 1987
sale of his family's business, WCSC, Inc., one of South Carolina's
pioneer communications company which owned and operated WCSC Television,
WCSC AM/WXTC FM Radio and other broadcast and telecommunication
operations. With the newly formed Rivers Enterprises, he initiated
several key real estate development projects, including The
Chattooga Club
resort in Cashiers, NC; a Class A office building, Charleston Gateway
Center, which evolved into Carolina
First Center; the mixed-use Fountain
Walk facility; a land-holding company,
Bees Resources; Cainhoy Industrial Park; and Seaside Plantation,
as well as residential development Riverwood in Gastonia, N.C.
A
native Charlestonian who has been active in the community since
his graduation from the University of North Carolina and honorable
discharge from the U.S. Navy Supply Corp., Rivers continues to serve
the city and state through various business ventures and philanthropic
endeavors. He is a past board member of the Charleston
Metro Chamber of Commerce,
the Charleston Industrial Association and the Charleston Travel
Industry Development Council. As a former board member of the Citizens
& Southern National Bank of SC, he became an organizer of the
newly established Bank of South Carolina. Rivers has also acted
as a fund raiser and advocate for The
United Way,
Ashley
Hall School,
the University
of North Carolina-Chapel Hill,
College
of Charleston,
and other worthy programs. He is the past Chair for
South Carolina
Educational Television
and the current Chair of The John M. Rivers, Jr. Foundation which
are among the more than 50 local, state, and national boards on
which he has served. Rivers resides in Charleston, S.C., with his
family.

Chief Financial Officer
As
Chief Financial Officer, Tim oversees the financial activities of
the 25 separate corporations, partnerships and limited liability
companies that fall under the Rivers name. In addition to
these duties, Tim also provides financial and management direction to
the The Chattooga Club
in Cashiers, N.C.
Tim
has spent his life on the coast of South
Carolina and received his Accounting degree
from the
College
of Charleston.
Before joining Rivers Enterprises, Tim served as Controller for
Adams Outdoor Advertising and Buck Management.
Tim and his wife Sarah live on
James Island
with their two children, William and Lilly.
Mindy Diehl

Property Manager
Mindy Diehl
has been with Rivers Enterprises since 2005. Originally
the Assistant Property Manager, Mindy became the Property
Manager in 2007 and is in charge of managing the Rivers Enterprises
portfolio.
Some of
Mindy’s strengths include tenant relations and tenant retention,
providing superior maintenance service, adhering to budgets and
problem solving skills.
Mindy, who
is a licensed SC real estate agent, has been in real estate
since 2000. Prior to joining Rivers Enterprises, she
worked in Charleston with barkleyfraser.com. She is a
graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA.
Mindy is originally from Lititz, PA and Currently she lives in
North Charleston with her husband Dan and son, Darrin.
